Steps to Set Up the PoE Addon for Coral Dev Board Micro

Setting up the PoE Addon is a straightforward process. Please follow these steps carefully:

• Position the boards to ensure that the board-to-board connectors and mounting holes align correctly. (The PoE Addon uses just one board-to-board connector, so the other connector pad is unpopulated.)
• Caution: Take care not to press on the camera lens to prevent potential sensor damage.
• Gently pinch the boards together, focusing on the flat section near the connectors. It is acceptable to apply pressure to the mounted chips.
• You should hear a distinct click, confirming a secure connection. When viewed from the side, the boards should exhibit perfect alignment, and the four standoffs should be in contact with the main board.
• Caution: To prevent accidental detachment and board damage, secure the boards together with M2.5 screws and/or place the boards into a case.
• To remove the PoE Addon board, separate the boards at the short side with the Ethernet jack. Avoid peeling them apart from the long sides (where the header pins reside) to prevent connector detachment.

Power the Board over Ethernet

As long as your Ethernet cable is connected to a Power-over-Ethernet-capable switch, simply plug the Ethernet cable into the PoE Addon board, and it will provide power to the entire system.
