The pictures are just to show how these heatsinks fit Raspberry Pi 4 and 3B+. Raspberry Pi board is Not included.
Copper Heatsink with Adhesive Sticker
Copper is famous for its ability of efficient heat conduction. This property makes copper heatsinks highly efficient at keeping the processor cool for a long time through proper heat dissipation. You can check it yourself by exposing one edge of the copper piece to the heat source. You will notice the opposite edge starting to take the heating effect quickly. The copper heatsink in this kit weighs only 3 grams.
Features of Copper Heatsink
- Copper resists corrosion
- Efficient thermal conductivity
- Best heat management in the case of overclocking
- The tensile strength of copper is approximately 310 MPa
- The density of copper is approximately 321 lb/in³
- Copper’s melting point is high so it does not expand quickly
Aluminum heatsinks have their distinct features which make them suitable for many chips on an SBC. The 3-in-1 Pi4 Heatsink set gives you the freedom of using multiple heatsinks for optimal performance at any given time. They are tiny in size making it easier to accommodate the setup inside a case.
The objective is to absorb the heat from the processor and take it away so that the processor remains cool enough to keep performing at the optimal level. Copper does this job better than alternative metals. Copper spreads the heat taking it away from the source and spreading it to the cooler material, including air.
